Gustav Klimt
Known as one of the greatest symbolist painters of his time, Gustav Klimt was a founding member of the Vienna Art Nouveau movement. Klimt main subjects were female figures as is probably best know for his “Golden Phase” with his striking use of gold leaf in his painting during this time.
