This striking print come from ‘Deutschen Tiefsee-Expedition’ (German Deep-Sea Expedition) by Carl Chun published in the closing years of the 19th century. Our in-house design team have used the original, meticulously detailed, illustrations that Chun produced, to create an eye-catching contrast of colour, using beautiful and vibrant shades of blue set against a jet-black background.
Framing Description
Each artwork is beautifully framed in a hand-made matt black box frame. The artwork is raised floated on a black background, with distance slip to give a 3-dimensional presentation.
